Crocheting For Beginners

This course, taught by Abi Rivellini, who has over 13 years of crochet experience, will guide you through the crocheting process from start to finish. Participants will learn how to begin a project, practice basic crochet stitches—including chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet—and properly finish a project. No prior experience is required. 

Materials Needed: All materials will be provided; however, participants may bring their own yarn and hook if they prefer.

Beginner/Conversational French Class

Join this 6-week beginner conversational French course designed for adults who want to speak French with confidence, authenticity, and enjoyment. Led by a certified French teacher from a francophone country, this immersive experience combines practical language skills, cultural insights, and real-life conversation practice in a relaxed and supportive environment. No pressure—just progress, connection, and a touch of French charm. 

Course Description: This 6-week beginner conversational French course introduces adults to practical vocabulary, everyday expressions, and cultural insights through interactive activities and real-life conversation practice. 

Teacher: Imen Seif, a certified French teacher in Connecticut with four years of experience teaching French in public schools.

Time: 6:00–7:00 PM

Self-Help Reflexology for You and Your Family

Certifications / Experience: Nationally certified reflexologist with more than 20 years of professional experience.

Course Description: Reflexology provides a meaningful way to nurture both ourselves and those we care about while supporting overall health and well-being. This engaging mini-workshop introduces participants to reflexology—an ancient healing practice with modern relevance. You will learn foundational reflexology techniques for personal use, explore key pressure points, and gain an understanding of the history and benefits of reflexology. Additional tools and tips will be shared to enhance your practice. Please bring a pillow, a hand towel, a friend or partner, and your curiosity. (The hands-on portion of the workshop is designed for pairs.)

Course Description: Participants will learn to identify healthy and unhealthy patterns in relationship communication, explore different ways we communicate and receive messages, and develop practical skills for clearer, kinder connections. Participants will also receive resources for continued learning and information about available mental health supports and services.

Course Description: Participants will explore how emotions are expressed and regulated, how trauma can impact mental health, and practical strategies for coping during high-stress moments or when a quick reset is needed. Participants will create their own mental health comfort kit, including tools for self-soothing. All materials will be provided, along with information on mental health supports and services.

Course Description: Step into the spotlight with this interactive journey through musical theater history! Set beneath the glittering Paris Opera House, The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a mysterious musical genius who haunts the theater and becomes obsessed with a young soprano, Christine Daaé. Known for its sweeping score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and iconic songs like “The Music of the Night,” the musical explores themes of love, obsession, identity, and the power of music. 

 Each session features curated video performances, historical context, and lively discussion. Perfect for theater lovers who want to see the 'best of the best' without leaving town.

Les Misérables Broadway & Hollywood Musical
