Students prepare to improve their academic knowledge in Mathematical Reasoning, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning through Language Arts in order to take the state-administered GED® test.
If you are 17 years of age you must also provide a copy of your withdrawal letter
signed by your parent/guardian from the last day school you attended to register for the class.
Day and Evening Classes are available.

Eligibility requirements are:
You must have a valid Connecticut picture ID.
17 and 18 year olds must have a letter from the last high school they attended stating
they have been withdrawn 6 months or more OR the class they entered in freshman year has graduated.
There is a $13.00 fee for students 21 years of age and older. Veterans are exempt.
When you are ready to schedule an appointment to register for the official GED® exam
call Linda Romano, GED® Counselor, at 203.924.6651.
Daytime (September - May) appointments are scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
between 9:00am and 11:30am.
Evening (Mid-September - Mid-April 12) appointments are scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays
between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
Summer (June - August) appointments are scheduled on Tuesdays between 9:00am and 11:30am.
